So I made my blog light colored as opposed to the black I've been using forever. I don't think I like it very much and I'll probably change it back but keep the same color combos. I'll give it time though. Also I had to remove the borders because my headline image was sticking out of them and I didn;t want to figure out why.

I need to get back into this blogging game. I always say I will and I do it for a bit then just stop. But now I have access to a DSLR camera and I'm going to tear shit up on the regular from here on out. This is all for you, David Funk, to keep you entertained.

I did other things today but I pretty much just hung out at New Yak City while they got things ready for their booth at the fair. I set up completes, ate Olive Garden, chilled with Paige and Michael, and did nothing. I couldn't really leave because my bike had a flat tire.

Nike SB came out with some SubPop Blazers. Nike's aren't my thing but I really just wanted to take pictures of something.

Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday were spent in Seattle hanging out with Sophie before she left, skating with friends, and just relaxing. We skated Greenlake, Ballard Bowl, Marginal Way, the new Seattle Center skatepark, and bombed plenty of hills downtown. Big shouts to Clay and David for the places to stay and the awesome hangouts. I came back to Yakima and found an early birthday present waiting for me in the form of an 8.25 Bacon deck.

Weekend trip up to Omak/Okanogan/Conconully. Our family and extended family have three cabins in a row on Lake Conconully and hella people were up this weekend for the Omak Stampede, Rodeo, and world-famous Suicide Race. My most favorite cousin Sophie and her also awesome brothers Riley and Sebastian were up too. There was a lot of swimming, rope swings, jumping off water spillways, and having no cell reception. It was an amazing weekend.

The past two days have been the greatest. Everything that has happened today has kept me overjoyed and happy.
Woke up, ran, showered.
Ate brownies for breakfast with Jack.
Skated curbs, banks, other minor shit on my old school.
Bashed my shins into a curb, no care, still happy.
Looked at a few cars with my dad, sucked, but decent deals out there.
Drove out to West Valley and picked up Lily from her job.
Met up with lady from craigslist, found a great deal on a decent car and am buying it tomorrow.
Called back a potential job, set up an appointment to drug test and do paperwork on Monday.
Hung out with Eloise at Franklin Park, bashed my achilles tendon with an ice block.
David and Becky showed up and we all hung out and played frisbee with her dog.
Came home, ate pasta and garlic bread.
Am blogging.

My life is getting on a roll and I love it. Car, job, friends, food, skateboarding, sun, and summer. Tomorrow, please keep the awesome streak alive.

Today was awesome, I got two pieces of mail. One was expected and one was a surprise. I ordered some boardshorts a couple weeks ago, so I knew these were coming. They're awesome though, not bro looking and the perfect length. Right above the knee, and I got a good deal on both pairs. Rodney and other haters can shut up and wear some that don't suck and realize that they're the greatest. The goldfish ones are made from recycled water bottles or some shit that I don't know but I guess it makes them cool.

Surprise! I got a letter from Jessica AKA da best penpal, always. The envelope art was supreme as usual, the random shit and card were fantastic, and letters are the shit.

Oh summer, you're great. Today was spent laying around in parks, climbing trees, rolling down grassy hills, playing with kitties, frisbeez, jet tea, and other fun. Relaxing is nice, meeting new people is fun, getting away from stress and just having a good time is the best.

Anyway, everyone I'm friends with for the most part is younger than me and are all graduating within the next couple weeks. They're all doin big thangz, congratulations to all of you. My job hunt came close to and end, but was put on lock/an indefinite hiatus due to issues with identification and my social security number. Long story short, I'll be out of a lot of money, still hunting for a job, but better prepared for the future. Shit happens.
David got the summer party us up and running, we put more stickers on it today. I think this and flip flops are my two favorite things right now.

All I've been doing lately is nothing and applying for jobs. Shit sucks, I've been feeling kind of confused and worried lately. Not knowing what I want to do in the near future, where to move, go to school, who to move with, and where to take my life. Everyone else seems to be taking their own paths and I'm just hanging out. I need to get a digital SLR camera, upgrade my laptop, get back in the darkroom, and just work on art in general.

I'm laying in Rodney's bed, still tired and resting from all the wild events from this weekend. On Friday I flew down to California again. Alicia and Amanda picked me up from the airport and we got to do all the fun stuff like getting kinda lost in Oakland, picking up my tuxedo, and I got to hang out with Alicia at work. Her job is ridiculously easy, we sat in a shack at a pool selling candy and drinking water, it was really fun though. We hung out into the night and I ended up back at St. Mary's and spent the night at Lily's.
Saturday, I pretty much did nothing the whole day while twenty minutes away Alicia was having to rush around and get all her makeup, hair, nails, errands, and other getting ready stuff done. I met up with them around 5:30 in my awesome, fun tux and Alicia was looking awesome and amazing in her ball dress and fancy get up. We took our pictures there and then drove to downtown San Francisco. Ball was fun, danced a shit ton, watched the pack, danced more, paid a lot for parking, and then bounced to our hotel a few blocks away. The hotel was kinda small but it was fun, we partied hard and I had an amazing night. I kinda got a little bit foolish but hopefully no one minded too much.
Woke up hella early Sunday, went out to breakfast together. Waffles and hash browns, and flowers for the ladies from the nice waitress because it was Mothers Day. I kicked it in Moraga at St. Marys for a little bit of the day with Michael, went swimming showered. Took the bart out to the Richmond area to meet up with Alicia and her family. I love taking bart, I did it all the time for that week and a half and I think its fun. Anyway, I had dinner at her grandparents house, met her aunt and cousin, went to the mall there, and the food was delicious. When we got back to Concord, Alicia and I went swimming til about 9 at night and it was cold as shit when we got out. On the way back to Moraga we stopped at Carls Jr and I was introduced to fried zucchini with ranch, it was bomb as fuck.
Monday morning I took the bus to Lafayette bart and met up with Alicia. She took me out to Berkley, Telegraph Ave to be specific. We went to a lot of fun stores, visited the UC Berkley campus, spent fun time just walking outside, ate Blondie's pizza, and ate frozen yogurt. After that we went to the Bulb, but more of the beach part this time. I got soaked in water and covered in sand and salt water in my mouth. We played in the whale semen as well. It was really fun there, chilly though. Then we went to Target, and then to the airport. Leaving always sucks, but theres nothing better than coming down. I hope I'll be down there very soon, it was an amazing trip. I miss Alicia, and California is better in every way, even their soda selection.

I hope I get my tax return soon.

More Coca Chola shirts are being made, in multiple colors too. We haven't filmed, or even skated in a long time. The closest we got was just skating to 7-11 to get slurpees, no spots were skated. Keep in mind, buying our awesome shirts will help fund skate trips to Seattle and the area, more slurpees, video production, possibly a fish eye lens, partying, hawaiian shirts and other cool shit. So buy our shirts if you like fun.
David and I barbeque'd today. I had tofurkey dogz and he had extremely perfect well made hamburgers. He is the best bbq chef I know, probably the best in North America.

I'm really sunburnt. But I'm getting dark, yes! We went up to White Pass on Sunday for the Slopestyle contest. It was way hot and bright out. Just shralping in a t shirt and sunglasses. Soft snow, fun, not so many people up, pretty fun. Jack won first place in the 12-14 boys skiing age group. Pretty awesome, congrats to him. He got a case of Wired, some expensive goggles and a bag of other stuff. Theres not going to be a lot of words here, just a lot of pictures.

The weather has been wack as fuck. Yesterday was sunny until I got on my bike, then it started raining. I got to the mall and it stopped. I picked up some job applications, I need a job pretty bad. Its been almost 4 months since I quit, thinking about this makes me feel like shit. No joke. I got back on my bike and it starts hailing and raining. The wind opposed me the whole way home. Rain and sun off and on for the whole day. I was also wearing shorts through all of this because it was warm enough to when I started.

Today I woke up and it was snowing. What the shit. Then it rained, then it cleared up, got dark rained some more, hailed a little, and was all around cold. Its been raining on and off, the same as yesterday. Apparently its been kinda similar in Alicia's parts of California. Shit sucks. I'm so over cold weather.
I filed my tax return today, yep, they're due tomorrow. Fuck yeah money back!
I need a job, applying.
I need a license, working on it.
I need exercise, not happening but maybe one day.

Its been a week since I left California, and its felt like forever. Jack is entering the Slopestyle contest Sunday at White Pass. And my moms bake sale is tomorrow. Werd.

Oh my god, saying goodbye really really blows. Alicia and I were supposed to hang out hella yesterday, but our time was cut short. No ones fault but it still sucked. Leaving at the BART and having to say bye was really hard. I was more than bummed and ended up getting ice cream because I'm a girl. But as bummed as I was, I got cheered up a couple hours later. Well more than a couple hours, Alicia and I hung out today. Even if it was only for an hour, seeing each other again before I leave was awesome. California will never get old for me, I'm coming back. I'm going to miss bowling class, hanging out in the sun doing nothing, Alicia's whole family, going to all the sporting events, HANGING OUT WITH ALICIA. Everything has been awesome, I never thought we would get this close but everything we do is better together and I can't wait till i come down again.

My flight leaves at 3:45, I get into Seattle at 5:45. I don't have a ride from the airport, and I don't know when I'll be going back to Yakima. Rodney, you should let me stay with you because I know youre reading this lol.

springs break, other things break. hahha oh gawd, i don't even know where to start. I have had so much fun here, Alicia is amazing, and I never want to leave.
Friday was fun. Dinner at La Pinata with Alicia's family, Baskin & Robbins, arcade, laser tag. :) Families are fun. I took a little step to a big change in life.
Yesterday I was spent at helllla sporting events with Alicia's sisters. We went to a track meet, which was fun. I reffed a soccer game, Alicia coached her team in the same soccer game, lol. We went to a softball game after that, and then to Taco Bell. So much family time. I don't know if my posts are descriptive at all but I'm finding it just a little hard to tell how much fun I'm having. Alicia, Amanda, and I went to a drive in theater and saw the new Fast and Furious and something else. SHIT GOT WILD. We partied hard and things turned out nicely. :) I never want to leave this place, I'm honestly looking into going to school here. David, i don't know what you were talking about through texts but lets move here on the real. Alicia, lets get married and keep partying and not let anything change. Rodney, im going to party with you when i actually want to be in california not seattle or yakima. FUUUUUUCK, five oclock isnt coming soon enough. This post was weird, but my life has been amazing. Especially the past few days, i think i found something special.

Hanging out in Concord is the shit. Walnut Creek kind of too. Frozen yogurt, bikes, more longboards, post it noting someone's car, car dancing, all the fun stuff. I never want to leave here, and I can't wait till tomorrow. More of all the fun but more. Hopefully I'll head into the city soon and hit up the zoo and all the other attractions there too. Also the beach, since I am in California. Alicia is the shit to hang out with and the most fun. She steals my shoes and throws them in front of people and down the road and we invented a game which is going to become the new "slug bug" for Volkswagenz game. Taking the bus to the BART then the BART to Concord makes me feel cool. Kickin it with Alicia is even more cool. Shit yes, I'm loving this place. But I don't think I have anything to do tonight. California has been great. Hanging out with Alicia has been more than amazing.
Yesterday I rode the BART for the first time, with the help of Alicia. We saw New Found Glory, it was a fun show. During Set Your Goals, Alicia lost her phone, but some dood found it and we got it back. We watched the rest of the show from the balcony, it was different, but it was a nice change and a break from always standing in a crowd at shows. NFG covered Gorilla Biscuits, played some acoustic songs, played dont you forget about me from the breakfast club, and a kind of dashboard cover. They had quite a solid setlist, it was a really enjoyable show.
Today Alicia and I hung out allll day for over 12 hours. I would post pictures but they are awaiting review to see if they're ok to be spread on the internet. Bowling, food, skating, meeting the sisters, meeting the mom, track, dinner, post it notes, and much more. Alicia's family rules, and I need to say her name more in my blog posts. :)

yee! I'm in Moraga, CA right not at St. Mary's College campus. Its really pretty here. And its hot, everyone is nice. Theres a lot of rich people in spandex riding around on nice bikes around these parts.
Mike picked me up in Oakland, we drove around, skated, played basketball, went to Berkley, and got lost. Sweet, I'm really tired and sitting in the dorm. Everyone is upstairs partying. Theres gonna be a lot of pictures these days.

The lame airline company d00dz won't let me bring my skateboard on the plane as a carry-on, so I had to fit it in my bag. And I decorated my big check in bag with an awesome Wu-Tang shirtpatch. I will be bringing the mothafuckin ruckus.

Jack and I went for a bike ride today, it was really sunny and warm enough to just wear a t shirt and jeans. So great, it felt way good just riding around. We stopped by New Yak City, they sold their last Capita Horrorscope :( but I liked the Gnu Street Series. If it didn't have lame graphics I would consider getting it. I really want to stop by The Hundreds shop among so many other places in SF. I don't know where to start.
While on our bike ride we saw a fillin in an alley done by none other than the infamous, lame, over-rated, NYC bomber COPE 2.

But it wasn't cope2. This struck me as kind of odd. Well cope2 sucks, hes been bombing the same simple throw that was given to him by another for 20 years. Doing the same pieces for 20 years. Not progressing for the past 20 years. And making pathetic attempts at cashing in on the recent popularity of graffiti. But whoever did this sucks more. What does this kid write? COPE 8734587345983? Theres been about that many people that have tried to use the name. And did he really think that throwie was cool enough to straight up bite? Did he think no one knows who cope2 is? Yeah man, thats definitely not one of the most recognized throwies in the history of graffiti, more so of the internet boom of graffiti. You tool, go back to painting your fence. I usually have sympathy for toys that are trying but fuck this kid.

One more week. I'm posting right now and its weird. Today is the first Saturday since I moved back here that I haven't gone snowboarding. It doesn't feel right lol. Rode my bike around, got around to taking decent pictures of it for Velospace. I stopped at Taco Bell to see whats up since I hadn't eaten there in a grip. A few weeks ago David told me of some awesome nachos that are super cheap there. The cheapest ones were 79 cents and were also the ones that just had beans, cheese, and hot sauce. Just what I wanted. So I ordered them and they were placed in my hands rather quickly. Once I saw them in front of me I was devastated. The dish they came in was tiny, and they didnt even fill it up all the way. I don't know why I was expecting much more out of 79 cent nachos, maybe it was all the hype, but I was. They weren't even that good. I should have bought a cheesy bean and rice burrito. Fuck.

Fuck these, they suck, Taco Bell sucks. I want to be eating burritos in San Francisco already.

These things are so fucking fascinating, like juggalos. But I see juggalos all the time. I have never seen a guido in real life, and I really want to. It seems they dwell mostly on the east coast, specifically New York and New Jersey. I hope there are some in the Bay Area when I visit. 24 hour ski was a bust on the fun and wild side, for the most part. Saturday I came up early as usual, shredding by the openings of the chairs. Not really any new snow, yet. It took a while for anyone to really get there. A lot of people were supposed to show up and party but I guess not snowboarding and partying all night is cooler. Laaaaame, oh well. All Saturday our snow crue was reduced to Jesse, Jack, Sean, and me. Jeff and Kelly came up by like, midnight, but by then I was too tired to snowboard with them that night. There was a bit of smoking, drifting cars in the snowy parking lot, heavy snow, funny wasted minors, angry people trying to sleep, and fun. We made do with what we had. There were some fun people up there, just not the usual hang out brahs. It snowed way hard all night, every run there was a fresh layer to cut. Swollen ankle and big bruised shin.
Went to sleep at 3ish, slept shitty, woke up at 6:30ish. About two and a half feet of powder to kill. We destroyed it all day, as tired as we were. I realized that I really want a rocker board, next season maybe. Jeff has a Signal Park Rocker and that looks way butteryer and funner than all the other company's. Also, staying the night in the lodge and waking up to the fresh snow with my friends kind of invigorated my dreams of renting out a house at a ski resort. Anyone who wants to move near an awesome resort with me, holler. I don't think I could live anywhere that requires a drive over an hour and a half to a ski resort.

I am addicted to Lady Gaga. So damn good, I'm not kidding at all. Rihanna too. I just can't get enough. Well we skated today, at the old skatepark. It ended up being David, Sean, Michael, and I hanging out in the parking lot and messing around. I cracked my beloved BAM/HAM Element board. Sean gave me a lightly used Manik deck so I could continue my skate legacy.

From now on I no longer want to pay for skateboards and parts. I want to get them all from friends and trades. If you'd like to donate, feel free.
Tomorrow begins the 24 hour ski Vertical Challenge. Us hooligans take this as a time to snowboard, hangout, get wild, and party at White Pass for 24 hours. Its gonna be awesome. But at the same time I'm not going to be able to text anyone, especially Alicia. This totally sucks! She called me today to talk about our plans to go to the NFG show. I get more excited the more I think about it, so awesome. 2 weeks away.

Well first of all, Sean isn't sending me the pictures I took on his camera so this is going to be 2 seperate posts for this trip. Also, today sucks because I rode my bike all the way to the ticketmaster booths thing only to find out it opened an hour later and that they don't even sell ticket master tickets there anymore. Its only ticketswest now. Fuck them, I need my New Found Glory ticket and now I'm going to have to pay hella to get it online.
Friday: Sean and I go snowboarding at White, drive to Oly with EJ, get chased by a police, get away, ditch beer, take off snowboard racks, continue driving to Oly.

Got to Oly, Cody wasnt there yet, he was still on his way back from Snoqualmie. Met up with Jeff, always blunted, always down.

He showed us a bit around Oly for a bit, but it got dark. Hit up the double tunnels for a quick bit.

Met up with Cody at Taylors house. Went back at his house, met his parents, got situated. Headed out for the night. We met up with Bobby and JT at a gas station, theyre down for the fun. We all drove to Grayson's house way out in the middle of nowhere with horrible reception. Sean fell asleep, everyone got drunk, Jeff and I didnt and we ate a lot of pizza.
Saturday was spent just chillin, Codys house, Bobbys house, Oly mall.

Somehow Bobby has managed to break 2, not one, but two Capita Stairmasters in the past like 3 months.

The night turned into a lot of Jack in the Box, graffiti, walking around Oly, Bob's house, visiting Tolo goers, and being down.

We ended up walking hella far for a party that got shut down in like 30 minutes. We went to bed at like 4:30.
Sunday, woke up. Picked up Jeff, went to White, went snowboarding, came home.

So, I haven't been blogging that much lately. The fact is, I've had the time, just not the material. I honestly have had nothing to blog about this week due to the fact that I haven't really done anything interesting or even left the house much. This is all because I've been trying to regain my health this past week and recover from my nasty cold. Being sick totally sucks.
I've been wanting to go ride my bike, skate, hang out, and just do the normal things I do. But noooooo. Also, being sick has made me feel kind of anti-social, so if I haven't been texting you or talking to you in general as much, I apologize. I don't mean to not be talking to anyone, I'm just feeling quite shitty.
Anywayzzzz, Sean and I are leaving tomorrow to go on a great fun adventure. I'm hoping that this will make me feel awesome and help me to snap out of my anti-socialisms and mopey-ness. I am feeling quite a bit better than I was at the beginning of the week, but not fully recovered. The plan is; friday: go to White Pass, snowboard, get done, drive to Olympia, hang out; saturday: just hang the fuck out and party on in olympia; sunday: go back to White and snowboard a bunch then go home.
I'm going to try to document all this through siqq picz. My hopes are set quite high for this weekend. It better live up to my expectations. Once I return there will probably be a blog post very similar to what I just described. Sorry for the spoiler. Oh, and I'm going with 12 dollars, actually 7 now because I bought some cheap food. I love you all, see you on Monday probably.

All I have been doing lately is snowboarding. And I love it. This weekend was Winter Carnival. So much fun, a few new friends, and a free t shirt. Cool shit, we should do it more often. Sean and I went up Friday, it was beautiful. 2 feet of fresh, deep, wonderful snow to destroy. Saturday and Sunday everyone else was up too. Long lift lines, night skiing, and I'm sick now.
Its also March now, California is less than a month away! Still so excited, Alicia should text me back though.

Yesterday, I spent my day busing around Seattle by myself for the most part. My camera was being stupid so I missed out on taking a lot of cool pictures.
Got off the bus early in the U District to look at this. Its amazing, and looks illegal too.

While in the U District I paid a visit to my friend Clay at his job at Crossroads Trading Company. If you're reading this, dood, sorry I didn't get back to you when you called later, my phone was being stupid. :// Anyway, I sold a pair of jeans there to make some quick cash. I then went to Buffalo Exchange where I found a new, current, awesome Flying Coffin crewneck that goes for 60 on there website for 19. I didn't ge it, but took a picture in it to look cool before Rodney does.

The Ave got boring pretty quickly, as usual, so I hopped back on the bus and headed toward Broadway. There was a lot of graffiti and other cool stuff on the bus ride there that I would have liked to get off the bus and take pictures of, but I wisely decided against doing that. While on Broadway/Capitol Hill I hit up 35th North, the skateshop. They have a good selection of well priced Vans, and their skateboard selection is awesome as well. The employees were really nice and friendly. Their clothing, however, is overpriced and lame for the most part.

After I was done there, I went right next door to Zion's Gate, a record store. There was a lot of metal and hip hop records there. But not many used records, and a lot of overpriced shit. 9 dollars for a backpatch, 3-5 for a normal patch, a dollar for stickers that are normally free, and a general overpricing of records. The employees there kind of gave off a snobby and anti social vibe, maybe they were just having a bad day. Anyway, I bought a Fucked Up Litany 7".

I walked back to Broadway to find some grub and spotted numerous signatures by a lot of good writers.

Once I was done bussing all about Seattle, I returned to Cole's to gather my things and headed downtown. I got there early like usual and had time to kill. I hit up Sno Con since its like right there, AND YOU WEREN'T THERE, ALLY. I might have bought some sweet boat shoes last night, but sadly, no one was there to talk me into it. Instead I talked myself into buying some Holden snowboard pants for 50% off. They're awesome, I've wanted Holden outerwear ever since I found out about the company and now here I am. Its been a bit since my last post and a lot of important awesome things have happened. First of all, I'm officially set to be heading down to the Bay Area now. I booked my flight on Saturday, I go down on March 28th and come back April 8th. I'm more excited for this trip than anything, I can't even describe it. I hella get to see my favorite Californian in like about a month! So stoked!

Well, today I got on a Greyhound bus to Seattle. The bus came on time for once, and we arrived sooner than expected, it was totally awesome. I hung out a little downtown and decided to meet up with Rodney in the U District. We met up around 2:30 and just kicked it on the Ave for a minute. Cellophane Square didn't really have any good records, but they did have free 12" singles of some rap group by they door. Free frisbees!
Mira works at Noah's Bagels in U Village so we went down there and met up with her as she got off work. She drove us up to Northgate so we could chill up there before Rodney had to work at 5. He gave me an awesome coupon that got me a free slice of pizza and a soda in the mall foodcourt.
While at Zumiez, Rodney's work, I acquired more "free" things including some shorts, some Grenade gloves, and some dumb Obey stickers.

At 6:30ish, D-TRICK, one of my bestest friends and my token black friend that is the coolest person at Target met me at Zumiez. We walked around the mall and its perimeter for a bit trying to find something to do. He was hungry so we settled on into Chipotle. It was D-Tricks first time ever eating there.

D-Tricks friends Savannah and Victoria came and hung out with us, theyre fun and nice. We cruised around the mall with them for a while just killing time. Hella mall rat status and shit. Despite what D-Trick said, their nails did not look very hoot-ratish.

After they left and got on a bus to go home we decided to pay a little visit to my old workplace, Target! We saw Julia in there, she was just chillin too so us three just walked around for like a half hour killing time. We were waiting for Cole to get off work and she was waiting for her boyfriend to get off work. Julia is cool. Cool enough to hate me.

After Target closed at 10, Cole was off work downstairs at Best Buy. He was hungry so our new group of three took a trip back to the U District. He was craving the most awesome 24 hour Mexican food in Seattle known as Memo's. Eat there, its delicious, right on the Ave.

We all continued the mass hangout till about an hour ago. I need to go to sleep, I have community service in the morning. I forgot to mention I saw Alix Isom while I was waiting to meet up with Rodney, shes baller. I'm listening to Sleep "Dopesmoker" and laying on a completely deflated air matress. Goodnight, I will probably blog tomorrow.

Film photography is becoming obsolete. I've denied this for so long, and I've now admitted it to myself. Everyone is selling their darkroom equipment on craigslist and switching to a DSLR and laptop. This is nice for some projects, but my new project is to scoop up one sweet enlarger set up and give it a new home in my basement. I visited my old photography teacher, Mr. Prout, today and it was way fun. He gave me a catalog to order really cheap printing supplies from, as well as advice on building my own dark room. I went to pick up one of my prints that he had displayed somewhere dumb, but I ended up not taking it home due to its size and the fact that he uses it as an exaple now.
Mr. Prout told me of his new teaching plans for next trimester's intermediate/advanced zero period class. Film=plastic Holga cameras, digital=cell phone cameras. Back to the shitty basics. I think its awesome. Caitlin Malone is in the class I visited today, she's cool. At one point she told me to "Sit yo ass down!" This is said to be the "blackest thing she's ever said."

After school got out we had a Coca-Chola skate and filming session. It was quite productive, very professional. If David can throw one together we might have a trailer for our upcoming video soon. Apparently a nice video camera and dudes skating attracts random people to come over, hang out and skate with you. This has happened multiple times while filming, they usually end up being better than us to.

I'm wearing fuzzy slipper-boot-things my sister got me a couple christmases ago and listening to the Black Breath record on repeat. Shits good.

I'm going to be in Seattle on Monday.

Coca-Chola

I don't have my drivers license. I also don't know how to drive. This kinda sucks being 18. Well today I decided to fix that, my dad and I went over some stuff in the drivers manual and I drove for a bit. I've driven a little before, but today I drove more and learned how to drive a stick. I'm glad I'm finally learning this, as long as its taken.

David came by my house and we headed over to John Young's house. I hadn't seen that dude in forever. We hung out and watched a lot of youtube. David and I tried to tape an exercise ball to his ceiling and it fell down and knocked a bunch of shit over. It was pretty cool. John gave me a skateboard that wasn't really his. Its an Element Bam board. I hate that shit so I changed it to a pentagram HAM board. Holden Asshole Manderville. Or Anvil, Avalanche, Alberto, anything with an A really. Thats my new skate name. I also put Bones wheels on this board instead of what was on it. Its like an 8.0 though so that makes it sort of OK.

I also covered up the remains of a DC sticker with a Low Card sticker. Fuck yes

We left John's house to go back to mine and eat pizza. 3/4 of the Coca-Chola skate team then proceeded to session a sick gas station parking lot, and another weird parking lot thing. We were just practicing for filming for our upcoming video.

Deja Vu

I'd like to take this time to express my joy of food. Well, a few foods I've felt like expressing my appreciation for. Bananas are awesome. In smoothies, in sandwiches, with peanut butter, in the form of candy and ice cream, by themselves, they just rule. Smoothies themselves are also pretty sweet. Grilled cheese and tomato soup has always been one of my favorite meals. Thats what I had for dinner tonight, still so delicious, still one of my favorites.

I began to watch the first season of Sex and the City this afternoon. Its pretty fucking entertaining. Some lols here and there. Prior to this, all I had seen was the movie, which was pretty funny. I really enjoy chick flicks like that, they're just so damn entertaining. Anyway, I'm more than halfway through the first season and I'll probably finish it before I go to bed.

It was decided through text messages that I am going to be getting a Coach purse for Alicia. And a scarf. And a clutch. And we're getting mani/pedizzzzzzz. I also share some common interests with old women. I don't think thats a bad thing.

Tonight I went with my family to see a musical performed by Eisenhower High School's drama department and directed by a family friend. It was called HONK, its a musical version of the story of "The Ugly Duckling". It was pretty entertaining, had some funny parts, some funny actors. During the intermission, I went out to the vending machines to quench my thirst. I was so stoked to be getting a Hawaiian Punch, and then THE STUPID THING ATE THE ONLY DOLLAR I HAD ON ME. This ruined my night at the theater. Not cool.

My dad is officially a super duper ski patrol machine now. He took his final test on Saturday and now he wears a red coat with some logos on it and gets safe. Thats pretty cool. I'm really worn out from snowboarding the past three days, this always happens. Today the power went out at White Pass for a bit, they turned the generators on and then the lift was running slow so we left. Sean and company are really fun to ride with, we pretty much just lapped the same simple, easy runs over and over again. I like doing this. Watch this gem.

Night Skiing

Today was beautiful. There was a thick bit of new snow all over. The groomers were nice and soft, and the powder bits were way fun. Snow was soft all day and was only a little icy through the trees and on the steep parts. Sean and I totally ripped on rollercoaster and were Flying Coffin crewneck twinsies today. Jesse lost his pipe and seemed rather bummed about it. Bummer. We stayed into the evening to get down with the night skiing tonight. I tried to ski as opposed to snowboarding, and that was hard, and it kinda sucked. Some good doods were sessioning the big kicker in the park till it got dark. I took a few pictures but I was using film so we'll have to wait and see about those. We went home at about 8, what a good Valentines Day. On a side note, I burned my arm on my waxing iron last night and I hate waxing again.

First Outline

Jack and I rode bikes today, its nice to be riding around again. Just for fun, around the city. I went to a local snowboard/skate shop today called New Yak City. It turns out their selection, layout, employees and overall vibe are almost as bad as their name. I was less than impressed with this shop. They had a few good things, but it was outweighed by the awful wannabe street wear and gangster ish. Not that cool, but Midstate is closing and this is going to be the only local skateshop. :(

Alicia and I talked about our awesome spring break plans, which I can't wait for. I also talked to my sister about it and am planning what days I want to go down there. I really hope I can stay there for like a week and a half. We're going to party so hard.

Jack and I waxed a bunch of skis and snowboards today. Pretty productive. Prepping for the first new snow shredding in quite a while. I only really wax my board like once a year though, I'm lazy.

So I've been thinking about getting everything straight and where to go next. I'm just kinda hanging out now. I should get my drivers license sometime, as well as a job. From there I want to move out again. I dont know if I want to go back to Seattle though. But we'll see how I feel after I spend a bit of time in California.

A text from Alicia woke me up this morning. I really like being woken up by the sound of getting a text rather than an alarm clock. Its much less annoying and I am more interested in what it says and who it is. So feel free to text me early in the morning, I won't mind. I texted all throughout the morning and then got and unexpected awesome surprise in the form of a phone call from Alicia. I was shocked to say the least, but it was really really cool. We haven't talked on the phone since I was last in San Francisco, and I think its only happened like 4 times lol. Well that was a fun 15 minute conversation. It was established Rodney and I talk the same and say similar funny phrases. Thats quite a compliment, he's funny as fuck. This call: highlight of my day!

Well the snow melted away for the most part today, that kind of sucked. Its still supposed to be snowing in the mountains though. Righteous! My parents are gone and in Seattle, where I wish I was. I want to move out pretty bad, I don't know where to live or who to live with though.

I wrote a letter back to Nikki last night and put some totally sweet things in the envelope. It was sent off today. Speaking of stuff like that, Alicia should send that best ever care package this way so I can compile one twice as good. hahaha

The dudes at Valley Cycle took forever to work on my wheel today, but at least they got it done. And they did a good job too. Thanks Axel. Getting this wheel back was the final piece in my single speed road bike build up machine. Its finally done, built with spare parts I had laying around, bought nothing specifically for this.

New Found Glory's new upcoming album. It leaked a few days ago, but I still can't wait to buy it. I've been bumping this all day. I really like it. I'm glad they took a more pop punk direction as opposed to hardcore. Tip Of The Iceberg wasn't one of their best releases because of that and the whole International Superheroes Of Hardcore thing just sucks. Anyway, it was produced by Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 fame. Who, on a side note, are getting the fuck back together! I really want to see NFG on this next tour, the other bands on the lineup aren't that hot but its whatever, they never are. IMO it sounds more like they Self Titled and Sticks and Stones, which is totally awesome. Fuck yeah, I dig this, if you dig NFG, you should dig this too, dig it out of the internet, then dig up some change and dig it out of a record store.

It started snowing again today. I guess this means our skate video filming adventure is on a hiatus. That totally sucks, but its awesome that White Pass is finally getting new snow. I took one of my road bike wheels in to the bike shop today to get the 7 speed cassete removed, a single speed freewheel put on, and the wheel re-dished. That should be cool. On that subject I think I fucked up my back wheel, it makes a funny noise and doesnt spin well anymore.

Spring break is getting closer and closer. I dont know exactly what days I'm going but I definitely am going down to California. I should buy my ticket soon. I cant wait to kick it in the warm weather and skate and buy records, AND GO DUMB WITH ALICIA. My sister went back to school and its totally not as fun here anymore.

Reeeecap!
-Woke up at 8 because Rodney texted me. And laid in bed texting for 2 hours or so.
-Wrapped my new handlebars with some spare bar tape that I had laying around. The bar tape on them is a celeste or seafoam green, like the Bianchi color. I don't like it but it was all I had. It will have to do until I get new grips. I also changed the seat on my bike, its now an old Sekai saddle thats beat up and cool looking.
-Rode to Jake's bicycle shop. Nothing there was too amazing. Then, this is where i came to a realization, I rode to Valley Cycling. This was the first time in quite a while I had ridden a semi-long distance at a relatively fast pace in forever. Its been months. Due to snow, gravel, ice, rain, me being lazy, and other excuses, I haven't really ridden hard in a while. My lungs hurt so bad and I was completely worn out. Luke made fun of me and I decided I should ride more.
-I think I should become a private air plane pilot.
-David Funk texted me while I was resting up at home and we decided to hang out. It turns out he has a really nice, awesome video camera. We equipped ourselves with awesome colorful headbands, trucker hats, some spare grip tape we found laying around, and this super duper camera. We are now in the process of making a skate video of our skate team that we're sponsored by. The team is just me and David, our name is Coca-Chola. First we hit up Foursquare Church, got some c00l tricks filmed. Some weird kids came up to us and totally sucked at skating but it was all good. They called my board "not a real board". One of them rode a 7 inch wide board. Now THAT is a gimmick board if I've ever heard of one. Jackie met up with us from there and we dipped to go get Slurpees. They dont let you film in 7-11. Then we skated St. Pauls but it was too cold by then to do anything cool or film.
-I went home, ate, chilled, watched The Italian Job, and wrote this blog.

Went snowboarding once again today, whats new. I woke up and showered, texted a lot. Had a bowl of Cheerios and a donut. Took my sweet time getting ready because we didn't leave till like 9. Today was different though because Lily came skiing, which she only does like once or twice a year I think. Weird. She brought up her camera and we took pictures.

Walking Home.

On the way back to the parking lot there is a pathway marked off and made quite obvious as to what it is. A walkway pathway thing is so obviously NOT a parking space. Anyone with common sense knows this. You don't park on the sidewalk by a parking area do you? Anyway, today some asshole decided it might be a good idea to squeeze his cool new Lexus SUV of sorts into a small not parking space that is right in front of a pathway that is prone to heavy foot traffic. Heavy foot traffic, as in people carrying ski and snowboard equipment through there. Well we needed to get by and with no care in the world, we did. Maybe our skis and boards rubbed and scraped and collided with this guys shiny paint a little. Maybe he deserved it. It wasn't completely intentional. Maybe he was walking right behind us (we didn't know it was his) as we tried to get to the parking lot in this now small space. Well he didn't say anything, only gawked in horror at his stupid car and looked longingly over at us as we unloaded our gear. He left without saying a word. I wonder if he'll park in a NO PARKING spot again. Or stop by at a ski resort on his trip over the pass again. I hope he doesn't drive his stupid car again.

Well COLE came and stopped by in Yakima on his way to Pullman. We went to Best Buy, I got a 4gb flash drive for 12 dollars which was a pretty good deal.

Alicia and I are getting matching tattoos when I go visit the Bay Area for spring break. Which by the way, she's going to be gone for the first 4 days of it :(. But I'll survive. Oh, we're getting the word "HELLA" tattooed in the inside of our lips. Yeah, we're just that cool.

I hate when blogs dont have a "Follow this Blog" link. Sorry, I just want to follow your blog. Anyway, today was a good day. Alicia and I are starting a band. Our name is Glue Mound Glory and shes singing and I'm doing whatever else.
I went to a super secret location that distributes all the sticker vinyl to all the sign and sticker making places in Yakima and picked up some vinyl. 3 yards for 12 bucks. Each sheet is 15 inches wide, yellow, green, and white. Pretty good deal.

I'll be making some awesome stickers in the near future.

After that Jack came home with an awesome drawing in his hands. He drew Mac Dre if you can't tell. And its done in crayon, thats my favorite part.

Picked up some Soma track drop bars for my bike from Luke. Good deal on them too.

And then I came home to find a letter from none other than NIKKI! It was awesome, we're pen pals now. Take note of the Black Flag bars on the label closing the envelope. Awesome touch.

At one point today Jack and I went into the Craft Warehouse. 2 out of the 3 employees kept following us around and trying to act all sneaky like. They thought we didnt notice for the longest time and thought they were quite clever. We werent even stealing anything or planning on it. I found it very annoying and rude. There were quite a few other people in the store that they werent paying any attention to and I hope they robbed them for all they're worth. They also followed us to the door and kept watching us as we left. I hope they try to accuse me of stealing some day.

And I'm going snowboarding tomorrow because I'm c00l.

Alicia bought a longboard. I skated with David today and drank a lot of grape soda. It really wasn't that great of grape soda but I wanted to drink as much as i could to spite John Young for leaving them in David's car. We skated Four Square church and then St. Pauls church. It was fun.

Well first of all, apparently you can show full on exposed bewbz on youtube now. Maybe I'm mistaken but i swear you couldnt show any sort of nudity before. I suppose its somewhat nice that Youtube is getting less strict, but at the same time the fact that they are letting stuff like that slide yet not letting people upload videos because they use copyrighted music is totally stupid. Youtube needs to stay more consistent.

I went snowboarding AGAIN yesterday. 3 days of straight shred really wiped me out. I slept in today. Yesterday Woody brought up his camera and filmed a little bit. Mostly Jesse hitting the big kicker though. Woody himself almost landed a frontflip of the little mini park jumps, which was mighty impressive. JT has the same birthday as me, but hes two years younger, and a whole lot better at snowboarding than me.
My sister, Lily, came back from Mexico last night, she's home for a week then back to California. She gave us the presents she owed us from Christmas. Jack and I each got a handmade bracelet and a hand knit earflap beanie, dyed organically and all made by hand and shit. I like it.

I just finished watching The Man Who Knew Too Little with my family a bit ago. Man, Bill Murray is so good in that movie. Its the shit, if you've never seen it or just haven't in a while WATCH IT. Its worth it. Funny shit. But watch this first, this guy slays on a unicycle.

On Thursday I decided to start taking pictures of relatively good graffiti/street art around the Yakima Valley to put in a zine I want to make in the near future.
One gem I stumbled across, I really like this d00dz throwie.

I also visited my old friend Dan at work and hung out with him on his lunch and we caught up.

Friday was spent enjoying the sun, warm weather, and soft snow up at White Pass. My Grandpa was visiting and my dad took the day off work to take us skiing with him. The conditions were great and it was a good time. He's 84 and still shralping like a mo fucka. When we werent shredding with him, we were riding with Justin which was okay I suppose.

Today is Saturday, once again, I went snowboarding. I'm really glad i get to go up as often as I do. Oh, and I forgot to mention, Jack is now able to go up with us, he's allowed back at the resort now lol. This makes it wayy more fun. It was cold and windy today but it was still hella fun. We tore it up with some really fun Olympia doods. Woody, Jesse, and Jeff mainly. It was awesome. I'm really worn out from 2 hard days of ripping but I'm probably going to get up and do it again tomorrow.
And I guess I caught a couple of good flicks in the park but I wont know until I get that roll developed. But thats not going to happen s00n.

This Time, This Year

It has been incredibly long since I last blogged. I apologize to all you die hard readers of this blog. Seriously, I've been busy though but I am sorry. A lot has happened since my last post so this is going to be long. I will do it in a chronological fashion.
Saturday: Woke up early, went snowboarding at White Pass. Came home, chilled with the fam, watched 300. CUT ALL MY HAIR OFF. This was wyld, it was getting long. But I had to start looking acceptable for various reasons.

Sunday: Hung out with Jack, didnt really do anything, but it seemed weird to from Saturday to Monday. Bought a Greyhound ticket.
Monday: Took the Greyhound bus to Seattle. There were lots of sketchy people on this bus, and obnoxious people. I'm just glad my iPod didnt die, I would have died with it. I got to Seattle and stopped by Play it Again, Sno Con, and REI. I walked around downtown for awhile and ended up taking the bus to Northgate and meeting Cole. I stayed at Cole's apartment and we watched Heroes. It was my first time seeing that show but i didnt really get it because I started in the middle. I suppose its alright though.
Tuesday: THIS WAS ALICIAS BIRTHDAY! We texted a lot through the early part. Woke up at 5:45am, was downtown by 8. Cole came with me and that was really nice/awesome of him. We were in the stupid courtroom from like 8:30-11 or so. It was loooong. 8 hours of community service and 3 months of staying within the law isnt too hard. Cole went to work at 2, so i came with him so i could go right over to Target and visit my old work. I was looking for D-Trick but couldnt find him. Apparently he saw me though and called for me over the intercom, it was funny and really awesome to see him and catch up about our gatz and gangsta problems and all that shit. After that I took the bus down to the U-District where i met up with Clay who got off work at 3. We went to Recycled Cycles to get my bike fork threaded and cut, they estimated it would be done Friday but I told them I was going back to Yakima Wednesday and they pushed it to the front of the line for some root beers. Sorry i couldnt give you dudes real beer like you wanted, but they are def good dudes, backed hard. Then me and Clay skated a shit ton and went to some record shops i scored some sweet records and then we parted ways at about 7. Then Rodney met me in the U District at like 8 and we chilled at Yunnie bubble tea on their couches and we traded a From Ashes Rise 7" for a Spitting Teeth 7". That was dope. Then Nikki met up with us at 9. We kicked it hella hard until 10, which is apparently Rodneys curfew lolzzzz. Nikki and I went to Safeway and picked up some groceries, then returned to her apartment to kick it harder. We made browniezz and played Mario Cart and it was awesome. We're going to be pen palz now. I went home at like 12:30. I also recieved a pack of awesome stickers! THIS DAY WAS SO EVENTFUL AND FUN. SRSLY. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICIA!

Wednesday: Woke up, showered, got ready, cleaned a little. Alicia skipped school to clean, i fully support this. I met Clay down on the Ave at 12:30, as he was getting off work. We skated around for a bit, and then headed to Lynnwood. Clay had an orthodontist appointment at 1:20, I skated around but there wasnt much more than a curb around, oh well haha it was fun. He got done with that at like 1:45. From there we headed over to Shoreline to check out a snowboard that was listed on craigslist. It is a Rome Agent 152, last years model, FOR 70 DOLLARS. Its in good condition, I bought it. Really good deal.

After we got done with all that business, we headed over to Northgate mall to meet up with Rodney. He didnt have his skateboard with him so we went to his house got that and some other things, one of which is that awesome Hundreds sticker that is on my new snowboard. Yes! We hit up greenlake skatepark after that and shredded the p00l a little. That was fun, kinda made me wish I had a normal skateboard though, oh well. After we got tired of that, actually we were just hungry, we went to the U-District once again and ate Jimmy Johns. That place is the shit, I say this everytime. Skating continued afterwards, scoped some dope graffiti, saw some toy do a signature with kiwi shoe polish. Cole picked me up at about 6 and I took the bus downtown with all my belongings including my snowboard and skateboard. I got to the area where the greyhound bus is really early, so I decided to head up to Snowboard Connection to see what was poppin. After walking around in there for a while, and making small talk with a couple of employees, a nice woman approached me and asked me if i needed to try on any of the shoezzzz i was looking at. And then she started telling me I should get some dope Vans boat shoes. They were brown though, not my style. If they were blue, I would have gotten them. This fine lady is Ally. SHES RLLY C00L. She informed me that not only does SnoCon carry skateboards and shoes, but theres clothes there as well haha. But seriously though, we talked about lots of things some of which touched on the subjects of boating, photography, religion/antireligion, fixed gears, rome snowboards, different parts of the country, hardcore, and acoustic anarcho folk punx. All of these things are awesome things to talk to someone about IMO. And theyre awesome to talk about whether youre trying to sell shoes or not. ALLY. You had a blogspot but dont anymore, BLOGS ARE COOL. YOURE COOL. WRITE BLOGS. Oh, and somehow she seemed to know everything about me, it was weird. She judged me and correctly guessed a lot of the stuff that I enjoy quite a bit. Weird. Either I'm quite judgeable or Ally is quite the judge,

Then I took a Greyhound bus back to Yakima and thus ends my adventure and my blogging dryspell.

NO BLOG POST YESTERDAY.OMG. Sorry for letting everyone down. Im sorry,I suck. Fuck youtube, its beefin with Alicia's video over some dumb copyrighted music shit. Lame,i really want to see it. I skated the new skatepark yesterday, it was dry this time, but I have turned back to using film as opposed to digital in cold/action situations. I like it more and it works better. I skated again today, but with David, at St Pauls church, they banks were snowy at the bottom but it was fun anyway. I dont know how I feel about my digital camera, but i dont have access to a darkroom anymore so I dont know how i feel about film either. This is hard. I HAVE TEXTS BACK. Well I did yesterday, but Im just now talking about it. Its nice to feel apart of this world again.
I started organizing my spare bike parts last night. Which turned into multiple bike projects. As of now i have 6 pairs of petals that are not being used. Thats ridiculous. Also, back in September there was an art show in SF showcasing RVCA x Cinelli bikes. I was actually down there the weekend BEFORE this happened. Im pretty bummed I missed it because I like bikes, RVCA, and Barry McGee. They made some dope bikes.

I ran out of texts today. This was horrible, I couldnt text anyone. Especially Alicia. She is making a video last I heard, and it has old people ghostriding the whip. Keep an eye out for that.
I was too tired to go snowboarding so I sat around, went skating for a bit with Jack, and ate cake. Somewhere in there I bought an OutKast record for 2 bucks. Spring break isnt coming soon enough, I should find a job. The cake was getting dry so Jack and I destroyed it. He took the last bite like a beast.

Early day today, I woke up at 6:30 and was up at White Pass at like 8:00. Chairs opened at 8:45, it was sunny but kind of icy, no new snow. The rail jam was today, but the camera i brought did not seem to work in the cold, otherwise there would be pictures. Lots of sick tricks and product were tossed, and the prizes and sponsors were dope. Came home and ate some cake and texted with Alicia, we're getting closer. And cuter. The cake is half gone and getting dry.

I hung out with David Funk to day, we played mario cart and each ate half a pizza. Then we went to Value Village and I got the cool, unused, in the box, with a manual camera flash for $3.

I went home and found a package waiting for me, it was full of zines and stickers from an old friend. Permanent Ink volume 11. Hit me up if you want one.

My brother, Jack, had a half day today, whuch means he got out of school at 11:30. I woke up at 10:30ish, Alicia texted me at 7:30 but I didnt wake up. I checked the two blogs that i normally check, one had some awesome graffiti flicks, the other had an awesome picture for me, and both had shout outs that made me smile.
By the time I had finished showering and getting ready, Jack was home and he held me to my promise to go skate with him today, despite the bitter cold and the frost on the ground. We went to the new Yakima skatepark, it was my first time skating it, it was awesome. The brick banks, pole jam, and ledge/grass gap were all sweet features, but the real party is in the bowl. Now that thing is fucking gnarly. I cant wait to shred the park when its dry and not slippery.

So, this is the beginning of my blogging career. I would like to take this time to say that over a year ago my sister, Lily, told me to start a blogspot to display my art on. I told her that I would make one later and i was too lazy to do so until tonight, when i was inspired by my good friends Rodney and Alicia. They both recently started awesome blogz and are probably the only people that will read this.

Anyway, back to the subject on hand, my life. Today i woke up feeling awesome, yesterday Alicia proposed to me via text message and we're getting married now. Spring break in San Francisco, Rodney is going to be my Breast Mang. This is good news, but sadly, no one answered the door when Alicia came to visit me last night, to make it up to her i promised her a cake.

I went to the store to get some cake things and on the way home i stopped by the bike shop to see an old friend named Luke. He gave me an awesome 50% off deal on this cool red fork.

After returning home I baked a birthday cake for Alicia, its chocolate with vanilla funfetti frosting. I'm really glad shes not vegan anymore because a cake without eggs would have been awful.
